Lorena M. Murray

MURRAY, Lorena Margaret age 78 of Tipp City, passed away Thursday April 28, 2011 at Elmcroft of Washington Twp. following an illness. Mrs. Murray was born February 7, 1933 in Frankfort, KY daughter of the late Bryant & Rena (Wainscott) Luttrell. She was a retired employee of Liberal Markets; a member of the Tipp City Church of the Nazarene; attended the West Carrolton Church of the Nazarene, and was a volunteer at the Salvation Army. Mrs. Murray was preceded in death by her husband George in 1999 and 2 sisters Agnes Farney and Mary Dorcas Luttrell. She is survived by one son Donald & wife Susan Murray of Knightdale, NC; 2 daughters Linda & husband Del Poling of Tipp City, Beverly & husband Bob Partin of Kettering; one brother J.W. & wife Marlene Luttrell and one sister Ola Belle & husband Robert Howard all of Frankfort, KY; 4 grandchildren Jessica Graham, Ryan & wife Lauren Murray, Erica Murray, Brent Murray; one great-granddaughter Aubree Cash and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday May 3 at 1:30pm at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia with Pastor Mark Wilcox officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 5 to 8pm. If so desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton or to the Alzheimers Association in Lorenas memory.
