Lorraine Nickels

Nickels, Lorraine, age 76 of Dayton. Lorraine went to be with her Lord and Saviour on June 8, 2011 at home surrounded by family. She was born October 15, 1934 in Lovely, Ky. Lorraine is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, David Nickels. She was a devoted mother of 7 children: Sheldon (Brenda) Nickels of Kettering, Sam (Sharon) Nickels of Florida, Steve (Regina) Nickels of Vandalia, Matt (Judy) Nickels of Huber Heights, Mary (Jim) Prater of Riverside, Norm (Missy) Nickels of Vandalia, Dwayne (Jenn) Nickels of Beavercreek. Daughter-in-law Teresa Nickels of Bethel. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lorraine was a faithful member of Northridge Freewill Baptist Church for 38 years where she enjoyed teaching Sunday School. Funeral Service will be held at 10am Monday, June 13, at the Northridge Freewill Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 12, 2011 from 4-8pm at Northridge Freewill Baptist Church 4800 Payne Ave. Dayton OH 45414. Arrangements by Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia.
