Luke J. Rosati
Age 76, passed away May 12, 2018 at Maria-Joseph Nursing & Rehabilitation Center where he has resided for over a year.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Karen (Rupert) Rosati; two sons, Luke C. Rosati of Carrollton, TX and Joe Rosati of Chandler, AZ; brothers, Jack (Gerri) Rosati and Pete (Paula) Rosati; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins as well as many caring friends.
He was a graduate of Sinclair Community College. He served in the U. S. Army Reserve and was a member of the Dayton Jaycees. He was part owner/co-founder of Acoustical Systems, Vandalia, Ohio until he retired. He volunteered for the National Aviation Hall of Fame at the Air Force Museum and St. Christopher Church.
The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, May 16, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Fr. Francis Keferl on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 435 E. National Rd., Vandalia. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
The family would like to thank all the nurses, aids and caregivers at Maria-Joseph for taking such loving care of Luke while he was there. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Maria-Joseph Chapel Fund, c/o Sister Alice Schoettelkotte, 4830 Salem Ave., Dayton, OH 45416.
