Marcella M. "Sally" Pearson

PEARSON, Marcella M. Sally age 93, of Butler Twp., passed away Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born September 1, 1917 in Dayton, OH, daughter of the late Frank & Margaret (Emerick) Vance. Preceded in death by her husband, Ben Pearson in 1986 and her son, Jerry Pearson, Sally is survived by her daughter, Janet Davidson & husband, Joe of Centerville; daughter-in-law, Cody Pearson; 5 grandchildren, Jennifer Davidson, James Davidson, Ben Pearson (Melissa), John Pearson (Tracy), & Chip Pearson (Dana); special family member, Rick Coyle (Robin); great-grandchildren, Shea & Alexis Davidson, Benjamin Gus Pearson, Alexis & Marty Pearson, Brooklyn & Austin Pearson; and Ricky & Shelby Coyle; special nephew, Bob Vance & wife, Rosalee and her close friend and good neighbor, Cliff Browning. Sallys family will receive friends at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia on Tuesday, February 22 from 1:00 pm " 2:00 pm, followed by a Graveside Service at Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City at 2:30 pm for those wishing to attend. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Dayton in Sallys memory.
