Marcella Smith

Marcella M. Smith passed away peacefully on August 1, 2024 at the age of 94, with family and hospice caregivers at her bedside. She was an extraordinary lady who had a great career at the Pentagon involving lots of foreign travel. She continued her love for traveling into her retirement years. While we are sad to see her go, we know that she is having a wonderful reunion with all of the family members and friends that we dearly miss. Tell, give them big hugs for us! 

A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at the Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Day City Hospice (whose nurses took such excellent care of her in her final weeks), 7601 Paragon Road, Suite 201, Dayton, Ohio 45459.
