Margaret M. Anderson

ANDERSON, Margaret M. age 74 of Xenia, passed away Friday May 31, 2013 at her residence. She was born December 30, 1938 in Dayton daughter of the late Victor & Margaret (Keogh) Engel. Margaret was a retired employee of Delphi Chassis with 30 years of service and was a member of St Joseph Catholic Church. She also volunteered at Childrens Medical Center. Margaret was preceded in death by one daughter Victoria Anne Ries. She is survived by her husband of 43 years Robert; 4 daughters Patti (Roger) Rowland of FL, Margaret M. (Brent) Butler of KY, Lesa (Gail) Cyan of Yellow Springs, Melinda (Steve) Zampella of FL, one son Robert (Eleanor) Anderson of Vandalia; one brother Charles (Marguerita) Engel of FL; one sister Georganne Finn of GA; brother-in-law James (Burma) Anderson of IL; sister-in-law Carol (Elmer) Hall of KY; 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday June 5 at 10:00am at St Joseph Catholic Church 411 E Second St Dayton, with Fr. Angelo Anthony C.P.P.S. officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday morning from 9:00-10:00am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton or to the charity of your choice in Margarets memory. Arrangements in care of Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia.
