Margaret L. Cowell

COWELL, Margaret L., age 87, of Tipp City, passed away Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born April 20, 1925 in Mt. Sterling, KY, daughter of the late Harrison & Margaret (Hadden) Crooks. Preceded in death by her husband, Ted R. Cowell, infant son, Rusty and son, Dave, Margaret is survived by 2 sons, Breck Cowell & wife, Julie of Tipp City and Scott Cowell & wife, Brenda of Columbus; 1 brother, Harry Crooks & family of Centerville; 5 grandchildren, Natalie, Amanda, Melanie, Wesley & Sarah; 2 great-grandchildren, Sam & Ben and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm, Wednesday, February 6, at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Pastor Virgil Gallagher officiating. Burial will follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday (TODAY) from 6-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association in Margarets memory.
