Margaret Jane Kaeck

KAECK, Margaret Jane, age 96, of St. Marys, OH, formerly of Dayton, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2012 at the Otterbein Home in St. Marys. She was born April 20, 1915 in Dayton, daughter of the late Walter & Helen Louise (Shroder) Bucher. She was retired from the Bendix Corporation, was a member of St. Pauls Methodist Church in Celina, and spent over 50 years with the Victory Methodist Church in Dayton. Preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Kaeck in 1999, 3 sisters, JoAnn Bryan, Vivian Williamson & Phyllis Blair and 1 brother, Elwood Bucher, Margaret is survived by her daughters, Shirley Goodrich (Darrell) of West Carrollton, and Karen Sparks of West Milton; 4 grandchildren, Ronald Goodrich, Donald Goodrich (Sheri),Todd Sparks & Tim Sparks (Missy); 6 great-grandchildren, Sheila Goodrich, Donald (Donnie) Goodrich, Dusty Sparks, Brooke (Sparks) Little, Timothy J. Sparks and Crystal Sparks; 3 great-great-grandchildren, Tidus Goodrich, Alaina & Maggie Parker. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 am, Thursday, February 16 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia. Burial will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapakoneta, OH at 1:30 pm. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 am until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Otterbein Home, 11230 State Route 364, St. Marys, Ohio 45885 in Margarets memory.
