PETREQUIN, Margaret M., age 85 of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born September 7, 1926 in Sandusky, Ohio, daughter of the late Lawrence & Margaret Morton. She earned her Bachelors Degree from Denison University and was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. Margaret was a member of the Polk Grove United Church of Christ, the Polk Box Button Club, the Buckeye State Button Club, and the National Button Society. Preceded in death by her husband, Paul in 2003, her brother, John M. Morton & her sister, Mary M. Ellsworth, Margaret is survived by her sons, Lawrence D. Petrequin (Faye), Keith L. Petrequin (Sheila) & Richard E. Petrequin; 2 grandchildren, Brian Petrequin (Regina) and Stephanie Lewis (Matt); 5 great-grandchildren, Hannah, Josiah & Elijah Petrequin and Katelyn & Kristen Lewis, and a host of other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service to celebrate Margarets life will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, October 21 at Polk Grove United Church of Christ, 9190 Frederick Pike with Rev. John Fowler & Rev. Ronald Hajarian officiating. There will be no visitation. Margarets entire family loved and cared for her throughout her illness and with the support of his brothers, her son, Richard was nominated for a Caregiver of the Year award for the excellent care of Margaret. If so desired, contributions may be made to the Polk Grove Memorial Fund.
