Margaret B. Quick

Age 88, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019 at The Hospice of Dayton. Margaret was born November 2, 1930 in Greenville, Ohio to the late Cletus L. & Mary L. (Snyder) Rehmert. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Earl M. Quick, in 1998; son, Gregory; grandson, Matthew; and great grandson, Payton and 4 brothers, Carl, George, Ralph, and Don Rehmert.

Margaret was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and she enjoyed bowling & golfing.

She is survived by three daughters, Marsha Baker (Frank), Lori Orrick (Stephen) and Sandra Conover (Michael); five sisters, Dorothy Gentle, Arlene DuVall, Nancy Reiwerts, Naomi May (Bill) & Virgie Edwards; two brothers, Marvin Rehmert (Charlotte) and David Rehmert (Kathy); nine grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and by her extended family & many good friends.

The family will be receiving friends from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., Sunday (1/6) at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Funeral services will be held at Morton & Whetstone at 11:00 a.m., on Monday (1/7) with Pastor Tim Scarbrough officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Tipp City.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Margaret to either The Hospice of Dayton or the Alzheimer’s Association.
