Margaret Smith

SMITH, Margaret M. age 91 of Butler Twp. passed away Friday September 14, 2007 at the Brookhaven Assisted Living Center following an illness. She was born November 9, 1915 in Wellston, OH, daughter of the late James Walker Marsh & Grace Marsh. Margaret was a retired employee of Frigidaire. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert A Smith, 5 brothers and 4 sisters. Margaret is survived by one son James & wife Marty Smith of Englewood; 4 grandchildren Debbie (Larry) Kurtz, Di (Craig) Bussey, Lori (Alan) Pierce, Kevin (Suzanne) Smith; 10 great-grandchildren; 8 great great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held on Tuesday September 18 at 1:00pm at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia. Burial followed at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family received friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:00 noon until time of service. If so desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Margarets memory. The family would like to extend a special THANK YOU to the staff at Brookhaven as well as the nurses from Hospice of Dayton for their loving care of Margaret during her illness
