Margaret A. Vaughn

VAUGHN, Margaret A., age 73 of Butler Twp., passed away Monday, July 30, 2018 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born October 21, 1944 in Pittsburgh, PA, daughter of the late William & Ruth Grohs. Margaret retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base after 20 years of service in logistics. She was a loving wife to Ernest Vaughn Jr for 53 years, proud mother to Bill and Jeff, and an amazing doting grandmother to Dylan, Riley, and Meghan. She was an avid member of American Kennel Club, showing Standard Schnauzers for 40 years. She enjoyed traveling to California, Oregon, Maine, Scotland, England, and Paris. She was a fan of all Pittsburgh sports teams, all things British on PBS, Star Wars, Star Trek, Marvel movies, Legos, and Apple computer products.

Private services will be held for the Vaughn Family and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be appreciated to the SICSA Pet Adoption Center, 2600 Wilmington Pike, Kettering, Ohio, 45419 in Margaret’s memory. Arrangements entrusted to Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia.
