Passed away peacefully at home in Glendale, AZ surrounded by family on November 14, 2015. She was born in Hazel Green, KY on February 9, 1944. Margie grew up in Dayton, OH. Her parents, Ernie Collins and Juanita Chambers Collins and Stepfather Melvin Stansberry pre-deceased her. Margie leaves her beloved husband of 54 years Maurice Turner, 2 sons Mark Turner of Chicago, IL and Brian Turner of Anthem, AZ. She also leaves behind 5 grandchildren, Alana, Jesse, Jenna, Jake and Joshua. Margie also leaves behind her sister Genel Watson of Lewisburg, OH and her 3 remaining brothers Gary Collins of Centerville, OH, Mike Stansberry of Dayton, OH and John Stansberry of Kettering, OH. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Margie will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held Saturday November 21 at 10:00am at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 9:00am until time of the service.
