Marilyn K. (Brunk) Gable

GABLE, Marilyn K. (Brunk), age 54 of Vandalia, passed away Thursday July 28, 2011. She was born June 28, 1957 in Dayton, OH, daughter of Carroll & Virginia (North) Brunk. Marilyn was preceded in death by her father and one sister Barbara Sue Brunk. She is survived by her husband of 16 years Ron Gable; her mother Virginia Brunk; 4 daughters Amie Hardesty, Andrea (Russell) Wombold, Adrianne Beard, Ali (Brandon) Meyer; her beloved dog Murphy; 2 sisters Vicki (Thomas) Dykes, and Joyce (Robert) Crump; one brother Doug (Mary) Brunk; 7 grandchildren; aunt Pauline Leggett; mother & father-in-law Ronald & Rosemary Gable and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday July 30 (TODAY) at 1:00pm at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia with Chaplain Randy Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Polk Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home TODAY from 11:00am until time of services. If so desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Marilyns memory.
