Marilyn Tebbe

TEBBE, Marilyn Jane, age 71 of Tipp City, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born September 27, 1936 in Dayton, daughter of the late Kenneth B. & Emma M. (Post) Pierce. Marilyn was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church of Tipp City and was an active member of the Tipp City Mum Festival. She was a graduate of Julienne High School and was employed as a real estate agent since 1976. She was a previous Camp Fire & Cub Scout leader, she volunteered at Bethel Schools and was an avid genealogist. Preceded in death by 3 brothers, Ronald, Gerald & David Pierce, Marilyn is survived by her husband, Raymond Tebbe; 5 daughters, Linda Kreider (Tim), Sharon Weaver, Sandee Arehart (Brian), Marilyn Tebbe and Darlene Carpenter (Richard); 5 sons, Gary Tebbe (Anita), Greg Tebbe (Nicole), Bryan Tebbe (Shelly), Rick Tebbe (Sherry) and Chris Tebbe (Krista); her 27 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, April 1 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 753 S. Hyatt St., Tipp City with Fr. Marc Sherlock officiating. Burial to follow at St. John Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday evening from 5-8 pm and also on Tuesday from 10:00 am until time of service. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton, Masses to St. John Church, or for the wishes of the family.
