Marjorie L. (Becher) Kearney

June 20, 1963 — September 9, 2014

KEARNEY, Marjorie L. (Becher), age 51 of Vandalia, OH passed away Tuesday morning, September 9, after a long illness. Marge was the daughter of Fred and Mary Becher. She attended Vandalia-Butler High School, Wright State University and received a Masters in Human Resources Management from the University of Phoenix. She spent her career serving people with special needs and gained fulfillment from that profession. Marge enjoyed playing Scrabble and spending time with family and friends. She was a founding member of the Delightful Dames of Dayton and will be sorely missed by all members. Marge was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Mary. She is survived by her children, Katherine and Burke Kearney; her siblings, Mary and Sam Nosker, Mike and Debbie Becher, Carol and Harold Duncan, along with numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or the American Diabetes Association in Marge's memory. A Memorial Service will be held for Marge at 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 13 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Fr. Francis Keferl officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 noon until time of service.
