Martha Jane Ulrich

ULRICH, Martha Jane, age 83 of Vandalia, passed away Friday, November 14, 2008 at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy. She was born December 28, 1924 in Dayton, OH, daughter of the late Carl E. & Florence (Carson) Good. A longtime resident of Vandalia, Martha was a member of the Vandalia United Methodist Church and was a retired employee of Montgomery County Childrens Services. Martha is survived by her daughters, Linda U. & husband, Michael Asher of Vandalia and Lou Ann & husband, David Bill of Bradford; 1 son, John R. Ulrich of Vandalia; 1 sister, Joann M. & husband, Russ Milliken; 2 grandchildren, Michelle & husband, Martin Beverly of Goodyear, AZ and Chris Asher of Miamisburg; 2 great-grandsons, Jordan & Blake; and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm, Monday, November 17 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Pastor Dan Scalf officiating. Burial to follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 12:30 pm until time of service.
