Marvin E. Wolfe

WOLFE, Marvin E., age 86 of Troy, passed away at his residence on Thursday, September 10, 2015. He was born October 27, 1928 in Greene Co., OH, son of the late Samuel & Minnie (Schwartz) Wolfe. Marvin was a member of The Byron Church of Fairborn, and his favorite pastimes were spending time on his riding mower and tinkering in his garage. Preceded in death by 1 son, Greg Wolfe and 1 brother, Tom Wolfe, Marvin is survived by 3 children, Teresa Wolfe, Mark Wolfe (Janet) and Sue Bell; 4 grandchildren, Amy Bays, Matt Wolfe, Mikaila Wolfe and Jonathan Wolfe; 3 great-grandchildren, Jared, Kaylee and Emma; and 1 brother, Michael Wolfe (Pat). Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm, Friday, September 18 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Pastor Wesley Barnhill officiating. Interment will follow at the Byron Cemetery, Fairborn, OH. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 12:30 pm until time of service.
