Marvis Wynn

WYNN, Marvis G., age 87, passed away peacefully January 3, 2008 at Englewood Manor. She was a longtime resident of Northern Virginia and an accomplished teacher and principal for the Fairfax County Schools. She relocated to Vandalia, Ohio in 2005 to be closer to her daughters family. Preceded in death by her parents, William & Carrie Gee and 2 brothers, Jack & Walter Gee, Marvis is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Pemily & Dick Penrod of Butler Twp.; her son & daughter-in-law, Robert & Adela Wynn of Fairfax, VA; 4 grandchildren, Aden Lynne, Tom Penrod, Lori Penrod, and Leigh Wynn; and 1 great-granddaughter, Tommie Penrod. Marvis enjoyed traveling the world, playing bridge and cooking. She gave generously to many charities. A private family service was held Friday, January 4, 2008.
