Age 94, formerly of Dayton, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019 in Denver, Colorado.
She was born August 22, 1924 in Masontown, PA, daughter of late Joseph and Suzanna Kore and grew up in Morgantown, West Virginia where she attended West Virginia State University before moving to Dayton with her parents. Mary was owner with husband, George, of George's Bar & Restaurant in Miamisburg, and retired from DESC in Dayton as an employee for the Federal Government with 25 outstanding years. She was a former member of St. Christopher Catholic Church. She was a Master Gardener, and enjoyed going to both Cincinnati Reds and Colorado Rockies baseball games. She was a member of both Dayton and Denver Hungarian Clubs. Her hobbies were cooking and baking, especially Hungarian foods, bowling, and golf, but most of all she loved her Family.
Preceded in death by husband, George and son, David.
Mary is survived by Son George M. and wife Mary B. Belme, Daughter Nancy Belme, 3 grandchildren, Michael, Denver, Catherine, Idaho, and Christina, Denver.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. Monday, January 21 at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 401 E. National Rd., Vandalia. Visitation will be held 9:30 A.M. prior to services at the church on Monday.
