Mary Kathleen (Vale) Brown

Mary Kathleen Brown

Age 96, of Dayton, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024. She was born June 3, 1927, in Warrington, England, the daughter of the late Victor and Jesse Vale.  Mary is preceded in death by her husband Grant and eldest son Larry. She is survived by her sons Robert and Dennis (Holly); grandchildren, Erika (Ryan), Travis, Kelsey, Chelsea (Will) and Nicole and numerous extended family members and friends.

Mary was a WWII “war bride” meeting her husband Grant who was in the US Army Air Corps based in Northwest England.  After the war Mary and Grant married and came back to the US settling in Dayton, OH.  Mary was a devoted Catholic and member of St. Albert the Great parish in Kettering. What Mary loved most was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
