Of Troy, Ohio passed away at the age of 71 peacefully at home on December 25, 2018 surrounded by her family.

Mary Lou was born in Pittsburgh, PA to the late John and Margaret (Gebhart) Krupitzer.

Mary Lou is survived by her husband of 42 years, Thomas; son, Thomas Crawford (Jenni); daughter, Nicole Laycox (Travis); grandchildren, Dylan and Preston Laycox, Jack and Sarah Crawford; nieces, nephews, and beloved extended family.

Mary Lou was a devoted wife, mother and Nana. She always put her family before herself. Mary Lou had fought a courageous and valiant battle against breast cancer since 1990.

Mary Lou is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Dorothy Hodgson (Bob), Rosemary Stanton (Robert), Marlene Wilson (Joe) and brother Robert Krupitzer (Jean).

Mary Lou graduated from Southmoreland High School in 1965 and worked at Modulus in Mount Pleasant PA until 1985, and Kroger in Vandalia, Ohio since 1989. Mary Lou was beloved by both customers and employees alike. Mary Lou was a devout Catholic and was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church in Vandalia, Ohio.

Family will receive visitors at St. Christopher Catholic Church Vandalia, OH from 4-8 PM on Friday December 28, 2018. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday December 29, 2018 at 10 AM at St. Christopher Catholic Church with Fr. John Tonkin presiding. Final interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery Troy, OH.
