Mary E. Fisher

Age 69, of Vandalia, passed away on her birthday, Saturday, December 9, 2017 at The Hospice of Dayton. Mary was born December 9, 1948 in Graceland, Kentucky to the late Ray & Lillian (Hale) Suttles.

In addition to her parents, Mary was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Michael Fisher; and by three siblings, Diane, Ellen & Mark.

Mary was a member of the First Baptist Church of Vandalia and retired from Vandalia Village with 25 years of service.

She is survived by her loving husband of the past 50 years, Michael L. Fisher; daughter, Tammy Rae Dillon; five grandchildren, Danielle, James, Shawn, Donald & Malinda; 13 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Carol Weiner (Mario) & Sharon Brittingham (Shantell).

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 18, at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Pastor Al Robertson will officiate. Interment will follow at the Dayton National Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 12 Noon until time of service.
