Mary M French

FRENCH, Mary M. (Tommy), private burial services were held September 17, 2009 for Mary M. French, age 82, of Vandalia, OH. Mary passed away in the early hours of Saturday, September 12, 2009. Born on December 4, 1926 in Sidney, OH, she was the daughter of the late Isaac and Betty (LaRue) Thompson. Also preceding her in death were her husband, Howard J. French; brothers, Raymond, James and Gene Thompson; sister, Janet Lallemand; and stepson, Gary Long. Mary was an active member of the Dayton Elkettes, Lodge #58, and a member of Grace Community Church in Huber Heights. She enjoyed spending her time crocheting, reading, watching Reds baseball and visiting with her grand-dogs. Mary is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Sharon & Tim Goubeaux of Vandalia; daughter, Carol Long of Reynoldsburg, OH and granddaughters, Andrea Goubeaux of Vandalia and Annette Goubeaux of Boston, MA.
