Mary L. Hall

HALL, Mary L., age 66 of Vandalia, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born January 14, 1952 in Utica, New York, daughter of Joseph & Betty (Bonomo) Forte. Mary was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Order of the Easter Star, Englewood Chapter #563 and the Sigma Phi Gamma Sorority, Kappa Beta Chapter. She loved sewing, reading, puzzles, playing cards and camping, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Preceded in death by her father, Joseph, Mary is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years, Larry Hall; daughter, Valerie Waite (Jeff); son, Eric Hall (Amy); her mother, Betty Forte; two sisters, Joanne Schieltz (Jim) and Pam Otto (Paul); five brothers, Nick Forte (Ursula), Vince Forte (Karen), Dennis Forte (Donita), Joseph Forte (Victoria), and Mark Forte (Vicki); six grandchildren, Mason, Aiden and Isabella Waite and Arianna, Seth and Addison Hall; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and good friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, January 15 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 7700 Dog Leg Rd., with Pastor Kurt Lammi officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City, OH. The family will receive friends at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia on Monday evening from 4-7 pm with Eastern Star and Sigma Phi Gamma Sorority services to be held at 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary’s honor to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
