Mary L Jacher

JACHER, Mary L., age 56, of Vandalia passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born September 5, 1953 in Charleston, West Virginia, daughter of the late David & Irene (White) Brecker. Mary was retired from WPAFB and served 20 years in the US Air Force. She is survived by her husband John; 1 son, David Mooney of Kettering; 1 daughter, Melissa Watkins of Dayton; 4 step-daughters, Vicki Moore of NM, Jenny Duke of TX, Jessica Stafford of NM & Kristyn Jacher of TX; 6 grandchildren, Sean, Skylar, Briyan, Samantha, Amanda & Alyssa; 1 brothers, Joseph Brecker; 1 sister, Beth Richardson; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am, Monday, December 28, at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr, Vandalia with Rev. Bobbi Predmore officiating. Burial to follow at Polk Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Make A Wish Foundation in Marys memory.
