Mary Kathryn Messer

MESSER, Mary Kathryn age 74 of Vandalia, passed away Sunday October 27, 2013 at her residence. She was born April 1, 1939 in Dayton, daughter of the late Jim & Ella Mae (Brannon) Epard. Mary was a graduate of Northridge High School Class of 1957. She is survived by her husband of 48 years Joe; one son Kenny Salley of Indianapolis; one brother James Epard and one sister Linda Watson both of Indianapolis. Funeral services will be held Wednesday October 30 at 12:00 noon at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia with Rev. Cindy Feltz officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00am to 12:00pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County in Mary's memory.
