Mary Roof

ROOF, Mary L. age 82 of Englewood, passed away Tuesday July 19, 2005 at Englewood Manor Nursing Center after a short illness. She was born February 13, 1923 in Dayton, daughter of Owen & Ruth (Henderson) Roof. She was a retired employee of the NCR Corp. and attended Stillwater United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her father Owen Roof. Mary is survived by her mother Ruth Roof of Englewood, one daughter and son-in-law Mary & Larry Baker of Columbus, WI, one brother Charles & wife Dorothy Roof of AZ, 2 granddaughters Brandi Baker and Dee & husband Dave Groh, 2 great-grandchildren Niki & Ethan all of Columbus, WI, 2 nephews Mike & Keith Roof, dear friends Peggy, Pam, Bob and Darlene and many other friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:30am Saturday July 23 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr, Vandalia. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6 to 8pm. The family would like to offer a special thank you to the staff of Englewood Manor for their loving care given to Mary.
