Mary T. McIntosh

McINTOSH, Mary T., age 88 of Vandalia, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2013 at her residence. She was born March 23, 1925 in Breathitt County, KY, daughter of the late Newton & Julie (Spicer) Turner. Mary was a retired employee of General Motors with 34 years of dedicated service. Preceded in death by her husband, Bert, daughter Venna and 2 sisters, Alma Johnson & Lena Stamper, Mary is survived by 2 sons, Stan McIntosh (Judy) of KY and Jeff McIntosh (Mary) of Vandalia; 2 granddaughters, Ashley & Michelle; 2 great-grandchildren, Kadin & Josslyn and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, July 8 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Pastor David Turner officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 pm.
