Melba Sue Fyffe

Age 80, of Butler Twp., passed away Monday, February 12, 2018, at Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born August 18, 1937 in Monterey, TN to the late John & Lola (Matthews) Higdon.

Melba is survived by her loving husband of the past 53 years, Joe Fyffe; son, Mark Fyffe; siblings, John, Donald, Fred, Wayne, Nell, Lois, Geneva & Molly; and by numerous nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday (2/16) at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Interment will follow at Polk Grove Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Thursday (2/15).

In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Melba to the American Cancer Society.
