Melinda "Mindy" O'Neil

O’NEIL, Melinda S. “Mindy,” 58, of Centerville, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton. She was born to John & Marie O’Neil on May 10, 1965 in Coldwater, Ohio. Mindy was a 1983 graduate of Springfield Shawnee High and was a talented self-employed recruiting agent. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Marjorie O’Neil; her brothers, Kevin & Timothy O’Neil; niece, Jackie Ahlers; and her dog, Bo.

Survived by her sisters, Mary Ann Gerlach (Jeff), Maureen Lockridge (Bob), Michelle O’Neil (Jim Leach), Margaret Ahlers (Bob) & Marcie O’Neil (Rod Vivian); sister-in-law, Hedy O’Neil; nieces & nephews, John Gerlach (Amy), Jessica Gerlach, Matt Spencer, Katie Spencer, Sarah Bauer (Brett), Carrie Shafer (Kevin), Hayley Fisher (Ethan), Alec Vivian (Cori) & Tim O’Neil (Mirranda); many other relatives & friends.

A prayer service will be held at the Calvary Cemetery Chapel in Dayton on Friday March 22, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. Deacon Leo Cordonnier, officiating.
