Melodie Barnett- Kinsley

Age 37, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at her home in Nobleboro, Maine. Melodie was born March 5, 1981 in Dayton, Ohio.

She is survived by her mother Wava Turner of Vandalia, Ohio; her father and stepmother, Anthony (Sheila) Barnett of Merritt Island, Florida; two daughters, Bailee Barnett and Cheyanne Knisley; her brother, Chad (Jara) Barnett; stepsister, Michelle (Mike) Guay; grandparents, Lowell & Kathryn Schereyer; her fiancé, Terry Stafford of Nobleboro, Maine; and by several nieces, nephews and friends including her beloved furry friend “Snickers”.

Melodie was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Knisley; her brother, Brandon Barnett; maternal “papaw,” James Watkins; and paternal grandparents, Elmo and Icel “Bea” Barnett.

Melodie enjoyed being silly with her girls, boating with Terry and Snickers, talking on the phone with her mom and spending time with her family.

A memorial service celebrating Melodie’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 7, at the First Church of God Tabernacle, 1635 Montgomery Avenue, Fairborn, Ohio 45324. The family will be receiving friends at the church from 12 Noon until time of service.
