Michael D. Bean

Age 60, of Pleasant Hill, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2020. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on November 18, 1959.

Mike was a member of the Church of Christ. He worked for the State of Ohio in corrections for close to 30 years. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Anna Bean of Dayton; brother-in-law, Robert Harley of Dayton; brother-in-law, Jeff Coleman and niece, Emma Coleman, both of Lewisburg.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Cindy (Harley) Bean; son, Tommy Bean of Dayton; daughter, Hannah Bean of Pleasant Hill; granddaughter, Lainee Bean; soon-to-be daughter-in-law, Kelci Carr; sister, Patricia (Bean) Coleman; and nephew, Justin Coleman, both of Lewisburg; much extended family and many good friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 28, at Sugar Grove Cemetery in West Alexandria. Phil Johnson officiating.  A virtual memorial service with Todd Parsley officiating will be available soon for those who would like to celebrate Mike’s life.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Mikes name be sent to: Fort Hill Christian Youth Camp, 13500 Fort Hill Road, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.
