Michael W. Heil

HEIL, Michael W. age 56 of Huber Heights, passed away Wednesday February 8, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital following an illness. He was born May 24, 1955 in St. Marys, OH son of the late Herbert & Mary Ann (Brady) Heil. Michael was a ditch digger working for Fishel Construction for many years. He loved spending time with his Hot Rods, going to car shows and swap meets and collecting antiques. He also enjoyed music and playing his guitar. Mike was preceded by one sister in law Tracy Heil. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Marcia (Warner) Heil; one son Michael D. and special friend Jane Todd of Huber Heights; 2 brothers Craig and Glen Heil both of Vandalia; 2 grandsons Andrew and Alexander; 1 niece Bethany Heil; 2 nephews Jason and Jeremy Heil; and his lifetime friend Harold Butler Jr. A Memorial service for family and friends will be held Wednesday February 15 at 1:00pm at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia with Rev. Tom Weeks officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00am until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the charity of your choice in Mr. Heils memory.
