Michele H. Rizzardi

RIZZARDI, Michele Henriette, age 65 of Butler Twp., passed away Sunday, August 24, 2014 at Hospice of Dayton after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born April 30, 1949, daughter of Guy A. & Elisabeth (Panis) Gilbert. Michele is survived by her mother, Elisabeth; her husband, Roger Rizzardi; four children, Michael Rizzardi, Kevin Rizzardi, Cathy Hall and Nicholas Rizzardi; her sister, Danielle Van Cutsem and her six grandchildren. Michele loved quilting and she was a member of both the Creative Quilt and Miami Valley Quilting guilds. Through her quilting, Michele touched many lives and her memory lives on in her beautiful creations. Michele was a devoted friend and always put herself second to those she loved, even at the end. A Celebration of Life will be held for Michele's family and friends on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at the home of her daughter, Cathy. The family will receive friends between the hours of 11:00 am and 3:00 pm at 420 Rankin Drive, Englewood, OH 45322. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made in Michele's name to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
