Mike Fodo

FODO, Mike, age 88, of Huber Heights, passed away Monday, December 13, 2010. He was born September 21, 1922 in Dayton, Ohio, son of the late Andrew and Mary Fodo. Mike was a US Army Veteran of WWII, a member of the Maranatha Bible Church, and worked as a farm hand on the Brentlinger Family Farms for over 52 years. Mike had a love of westerns, Roy Rogers, and John Wayne. He is survived by his family, Raymond & Terri Brentlinger, Tom & Kathi Brentlinger, Linda & Tony Dawes, Martha Ginter, Nathan & family, Howard, Andy, & Emily Brentlinger and Kelly Flanery & family, and special friends Howard & Martha Weinert . Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, December 20 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Pastor Doug Kauffman officiating. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 pm until time of service.
