KENNEDY, Mildred “Nanny,” 94, of Vandalia, passed away Monday, May 9, 2022 at her home. She was born to Willie & Fannie Greene on June 8, 1927 in Fairmount, Georgia. Nanny was retired from TWA in San Antonio, TX and was a lifetime member of VFW #657 Ladies Auxiliary. Preceded in death by her first husband, Herbert Brewsaugh; second husband, James Paul Kennedy; five siblings; daughters, Kaye Denny (Bill) & Joan Darke; great grandchild, Nathan Stiefel.
Survived by her son, Gary Brewsaugh (Melanie Terry); daughters, Donna Pfarrer-Coover, and Paula Ferrara (John); sister, Sybil Evans; grandchildren, Jeff (Kristine), Dawn (Jeremy), Grant (Mandy), Jonathan (Sheri), Jessica (Tim), Courtney & Erin (Yihwin); great grandchildren, Steven, Diana (Ashley), Ryan (Autumn), Trenton, Sarah, Gage, Zoe, Shiloh, Levi, Taylor, Tanner, Graylin, Lilly & Lucy; great great grandson, Wyatt; son-in-law, Jim Darke; numerous other family & friends. The family would like to give a special thank you to Tonya Hoskins, Pat Buckner and Hospice of Dayton.
