Minnie M Hunt

Minnie M Hunt, age 85, of Tipp City, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. She was born to the late James & Flora Ellis on November 20, 1939, in Mt. Helen, Tennessee. Minnie loved cooking for her family and spending quality time with them. She was an avid gardener and loved watching her shows on television and shopping. One of her greatest loves was to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, they meant the world to her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; father, James; mother, Flora; brothers, David, Archie, Culver, and John Roy; grandson Bryon; brother-in-law Roger.

Minnie is survived by her three children, Debra (Anthony), Timothy (Pam), and James (Kathlene); sister, Brenda; brothers, Bill (Elise), and Clarence; grandchildren, Denise (Craig), Christopher (Heather), Tessin (Nate), Early (Faythe), Demi, and Jimmie; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Dalton, Laney, Jaisa, Letty, Sylas, Isabelle, Alexander, and Emilia; many other extended family & friends.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am on Thursday, December 5, at the Northridge Free Will Baptist Church, 4800 Payne Ave, Dayton, OH 45414, until the start of the funeral service at 1:00 pm, Pastor Tim Hamilton officiating. The burial will take place following the services at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family encourages friends to join them after the burial at Marion’s Pizza, 3443 N Dixie Dr, Dayton, OH, 45414.
