Myrtle Lykins

LYKINS, Myrtle age 93 0f Dayton passed away Sunday July 14, 2013 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born January 28, 1920 in Jackson, KY daughter of the late Henry & Pauline (Tripplett) Centers. Myrtle was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and was a past Worthy Matron of the O.E.S Farmersville Chapter #155. She was preceded in death by her husband Dorsey; one daughter Betty Schram; 1 brother James Centers, and 1 sister Mabel Campton. She is survived by 2 daughters and sons-in-law Lois & Raymond Terry of Vandalia, Donna & Thomas Sterrett of Panama City, FL; 5 grandchildren Connie Schreiber, Heather Sterrett, Kimberly Smith, Sandy ______, Stephen Schram, and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday July 17 at 12:00 noon at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia with Rev. Jim Richardson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00am until time of the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Myrtles memory.
