Myrtle M. Wells

WELLS, Myrtle Maurine (DeBorde) age 95, of Phoneton, Ohio passed away peacefully at her home of 61 years on May 8, 2015. She was born in Cannel City, Kentucky on April 14, 1920. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sevillar and James DeBorde, 7 siblings, her beloved husband, Norvin, 2 sons, Gary and Brad Wells and 2 sons-in-law, Lewis Gregory Jr., and Roger Rogers. She is survived by 5 children, Jan Rogers, Marilyn (Larry) Peterson, Gordon (Lana) Wells, Teresa Gregory, and Michael Wells. She had 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren. Myrtle made everyone feel they were her favorite. She was a caring and loving person with a great sense of humor. She was a member of the West Charleston Church of the Brethren for over 60 years. Myrtle's family would like to thank her church family, Hospice and her caregivers, Connie Elam and Vickie Terry for their loving care of our mom. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 16 from 10:00 am until the funeral service at 12:00 noon at the West Charleston Church of the Brethren, 4817 St. Rte. 202, Tipp City, OH. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County or the West Charleston Church of the Brethren.
