Nancy L. Moore Age 80, of Vandalia, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 9, 2015, at The Hospice of Dayton. Nancy was born August 13, 1934 to Robert Ellis and Glenna (Withers) Brawner of Dayton, Ohio. She was a long time resident of Vandalia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cedric James "Jim" Moore, her son, Tony Moore, and by two sisters, Rita Mae Raymond of Troy and Joyce Kay Pierce of Miamisburg. Nancy is survived by daughters, Connie and husband Stan Arms of Troy and Terri Moore and husband Jim Slivinik of Springboro; sons Shaun and wife Marilyn Moore of Tipp City and Tim and wife Janice Moore of South Dakota; one sister, Carol Snyder of Vandalia; 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and a wealth of other loved ones and special friends. Over the years, Nancy was known to many people; as a wife, sister, aunt, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved people and always strove to see the best in everyone and always gave the best of herself. Nancy enjoyed nature, reading, art, music and animals; especially her beloved cats, who kept her from being lonely in the quietest of times. She achieved many things in her life, including seeing her dream of becoming a published author, come to fruition. Above all, she wanted everyone she knew to find peace, love and happiness in the world around them. To her, that would be anyone's greatest achievement. She will be buried at Forest Hills Cemetery where her husband and son are.
