Nancy L. Trimbach

Nancy L. Trimbach of Vandalia, Ohio. Born on April 19, 1928, Nancy departed this life on May 17, 2016 at Springmeade in Tipp City, Ohio. Nan attended Vandalia Butler High School and Patterson Co-Op High School. Before retiring she spent more than 30 years with General Motors. She later returned to work at Meijer where she met and remained friends with a wonderful group of ladies. Nan was also a member of St. Christopher Parish. A remarkable baker she was known for her amazing cinnamon rolls. Nan also enjoyed her ladies bowling leagues and shared many fun-filled evenings bowling and laughing with her friends. Her family was her true passion and she was a faithful fan at many sporting and school events of her nieces and nephews. Survived by brothers Phillip (Irma) of Santa Barbara, David (Karen) of Vandalia, and sister Sara “Sally” (Bob, deceased) Delaney of Centerville, many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, May 20 at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 435 E. National Rd., Vandalia with Fr. Francis Keferl officiating. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 10:00 am until time of service. The family thanks the staff of Springmeade and Crossroads Hospice for the care of Nancy the last few months. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 31 W.
