Nicholas D. Aycock

September 8, 1981 — February 2, 2013

AYCOCK, Nicholas David, age 31, Vandalia, OH went home to be with the Lord Saturday, February 2,2013 at MVH. His death results from an accident on August 15, 2010 while working as Marketing Director for the Amateur Trapshooting Association in Sparta, IL. His 2 1/2 year valiant struggle, sprinkled with miracles, can be followed on Facebook 'Pray for Nick Aycock'. Nick was a member of the First Baptist Church of Vandalia, OH and a Life Member of the Amateur Trapshooting Association. Preceded in death by his grandparents, James H. Everhart and Joyce and Pete Aycock. He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, David and Juletta Joy Aycock; sister, Natalie (Chris) Barnett; brother, Nathan (Savhanna) Aycock; Grandmother, Marjorie Everhart; He was a loving Uncle to Chloe, Cailey, and AJ Barnett and Carson Nicholas Aycock. Aunts and Uncles, Brian and Anita Aycock, Clayton, OH; Karen Zug, Vandalia; Gene and Tim Everhart, Bainbridge, Ohio. Cousins, Allyssa (Brent) Alford, Heather (David) Jacques, Nichole Conway, Zachary Aycock, Erin (Rob) Aycock McNamee, Benjamin & Chase Everhart; Jimmy, Tim and Sarah Everhart. Heartfelt thanks to Dr, Daniel Naughton, Saint Louis University Hospital where Nick was a patient for 200 days initially; Miami Valley Hospital's Dr. Randy Woods, Dr. Hari Polenakovik and Adrienne Miller (wound team), and the loving nurses who cared for Nick. God bless his hundreds of friends who share our grief at this time. VIEWING 5-8 PM Tuesday Feb 5, 2013, SERVICES 11 AM Wednesday, Feb 6, 2013. Both viewing and services at FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH, Elva Ct., Vandalia. (Across from Butler High School) Pastor David Starry will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to 'For Benefit of Nick Aycock and Family', Abbey Credit Union, 800 Falls Creek Drive, Vandalia, OH 45377( across from Krogers).
