Norma Louise “Lou” Leach

Born December 23, 1939 in War, West Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 21, 2017.

Lou was preceded to Heaven by her parents, Alice and Jim Richardson; infant daughter, Kelly Louise; sister, Alice; and brother, Jim.

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Donald D. Leach; sons, Robert Stephen and Andrew Scott; and brother, John.

She moved to Dayton in 1957 in search of work and spent 35 years selling real estate primarily in the Vandalia area. She was a devoted member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Butler Twp. for over 52 years and she was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star. Lou was an energetic person who cared about everyone and was always in pursuit of learning. Throughout her life she touched many people. What is now pain on earth, is joy in Heaven. Lou will be missed by all that crossed paths with her.

The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m., Monday (9/25) at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 7700 Dog Leg Road (at the intersection of Little York Road), Dayton. Funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Kurt Lammi officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Tipp City. Following the committal service, family & friends are invited to return to the church for lunch.
