Norma Jean Luciano

LUCIANO, Norma Jean, age 83 of Vandalia, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2008 at Springmeade Health Center. She was born December 8, 1924 in Richmond, IN, daughter of the late John & Edna (Fasick) Burris. She was a former member of the Troy Country Club, was an avid golfer and bowler and a member of the Vandalia Senior Citizen Center. Preceded in death by her husband, Alexander Al Luciano in 2003, Jean is survived by her son, David & wife, Molly Luciano of Tipp City; daughter, Kay & husband, Mike Hall of Vandalia; grandchildren, Jason Hall (Jodi), Ben Hall (Anne), Tony Luciano, Andy Luciano (Niki) and Nick Luciano; great-grandchildren, Duncan and Dane Hall, Keaton, Carly and Mia Luciano and Luciana Hall; 1 brother, Harry Burris of TN and 1 sister, Dottie Rupp of Monroe, OH. It was Jeans wish that her body be donated to the Wright State School of Medicine. A Memorial Service for family and friends will be held at 4:00 pm, Saturday, October 11 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Pastor Bob Vogelman officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 3:00 pm until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Miami County Hospice or to the charity of your choice in Jeans memory. Jean spent her last 6-1/2 years at Springmeade Health Center. The family would like to thank the entire staff for their excellent, loving care.
