Owen Paul Defrain

Owen Paul DeFrain, 6 weeks old, of Vandalia Ohio, died on Saturday February 22, 2014 of natural causes. He was born on January 11, 2014 to Roy and Courtney DeFrain. Owen is survived by his father Roy DeFrain, mother Courtney DeFrain, grandparents Paula and Ray Dale, grandparents Roy and Georgia DeFrain, great-grandmother Paulene Steinbrueck, and great-grandmother Elizabeth Artin.Although his time was short, he influenced all those he came in contact with. He was a perfect baby who loved cuddling, and never knew a stranger. His smile, beautiful blue eyes, facial expressions, and little noises will always be remembered. He touched so many lives while he was here, and forever changed his mom and dad. A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 pm, Friday, February 28 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5:30 pm until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in Owen's memory.
