Patricia M. Lechner

Age 88, of Vandalia, passed away Friday, April 29, 2016. Patricia was born December 3, 1927 in Dayton to the late William & Fay Josephine (Worth) Hickey. In addition to her parents, she also preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Mark J. Lechner, in 2002.

Patricia was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church and the Vandalia Lioness Club.

She is survived by three children, Kathleen Wedig (Donald), Vincent and Joseph Lechner; three grandchildren, Jessica, Brian & Kevin; and by one sister, Rita Weber.

The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday (May 3) at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by Rev. Fr. Francis Keferl at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 435 E. National Rd., Vandalia. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

If friends desire, contributions may be made in memory of Patricia to either The Hospice of Dayton, Hospice of Cincinnati or St. Vincent DePaul.
