Patricia J. Shaffer

SHAFFER, Patricia J. age 62 of Harrison Twp. passed away Saturday September 17, 2011. She was born March 31, 1949 in Dayton, OH. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband Richard in 2002; 2 children Carrie & Russell and 2 brothers Don & Jerry Trochelman. She is survived by one son Wade & wife Tammy Andrews of Vandalia; 6 brothers Mike (Jenny) Pierson, Norman (Jan) Trochelman, John (Pat) Trochelman, Les (Joyce) Trochelman, Jim (Nancy) Pierson, Tony (Julie) Pierson; sister Carolyn Rulla; sister-in-law Pat Trochelman; 4 grandchildren Timothy, Elizabeth, and Jessica Stockman and Chase Andrews; 5 great-grandchildren; special nieces and nephew Samantha, Trish, and Austin; special friends Wanda & Craig McLaughlin and their family and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday Sept. 24 at 10:30am at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia. Burial will follow at Arlington Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 4 to 6pm and again on Saturday morning from 9:30am until time of the services.
