Patricia Marie Umana

Patricia Marie Umana, 77, - Vandalia, Ohio passed away January 24, 2015 near her family in Fishers Indiana. Patricia Umana(Deady) was born October 25, 1937 in Springfield Ohio. She was a graduate of Catholic Central High School, Springfield Ohio. Pat was a proud homemaker in Vandalia Ohio where she lived for over 50 years. She was involved in the community as a volunteer at Saint Elizabeth Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital, election poll volunteer, Mothers Club University of Dayton and various church activities at St. Christopher's Catholic Church. Although Pat had chronic health issues since birth she was always smiling and witty, even the day before she passed away. She is preceded in death by her sisters Betty and Martha. She is survived by her husband Rafael Umana, son Greg Umana wife Kristy, nephew/son Rafael Alvarado wife, Guustie, and brothers, Roger and Ray Deady. She is blessed with seven grandchildren; Luke, Brittany, Erika, Andrew, Raul with wife Lauren, Alexander, Mariah and great grandson Jebadiah. Services will be held Saturday, January 31, at St. Christopher Church 435 E. National Rd., Vandalia Ohio. Visitation will be at 10am followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11am with Fr. Francis Keferl officiating. Interment will follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to St. Christopher Church. Arrangements entrusted to Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home Vandalia, Ohio.
