DILG, Patty L. (McKinney). Patty was born May 12, 1931 in Dayton, OH. She departed this life at Hospice of Dayton April 16, 2007. Patty fought a long and courageous battle against heart and lung disease. A 1949 graduate of Kiser High School, she retired from the Dayton Area Board of Realtors after many years of service. Patty was a longtime member of St Johns Lutheran Church of Vandalia. She was preceded in death by husband Earl; parents Clarence & Mary McKinney and brothers Clyde and Clarence (Bud) McKinney. She is survived by sisters Mary-Margaret Lewis (Carl), of Powell, OH, Melinda Bockrath (Bill), of Ottawa, OH, Zurah Perkins (Richard) of Venice, FL; brothers Leo (Rita), and Russell (Coralee) McKinney of Fairborn, Gordon, Malcolm (Linda) and Casey McKinney all of Dayton, Patrick (Marlene) McKinney of Ft Wayne, IN, David (Doris) McKinney of New Carlisle, John (Sue) McKinney of Liberty Twp., OH. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews including special nieces Tina (David) McGuinness of Gunnison, CO, Teddi (Gary) Hotopp of Powell, OH; nephews Vern (Diane) Lewis of Westerville, OH and Vince (Wendy) Lewis of Dayton. Also step-children Beverly (Gary) Igleburger of Dayton, Mark Dilg of Dixon NM, Jan (Frank Cunningham) Dilg of Portland, OR; step-grandchildren Tucker Cunningham and Casey Dilg of Portland, OR, and Erin Stamper of Dayton. The family would like to give special thanks to Hospice of Dayton, Especially Dr Cleanne Cass, Heartland of Centerville especially Andrew, Purpetua, and Linda Andrews and Pastor Santiago of St Johns Lutheran Church for their continued help, love and support. Donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton or to St Johns Lutheran Church Handbell Choir. Funeral services will be held Friday April 20 at 10:00am at St Johns Lutheran Church 122 W. National Rd Vandalia with Pastor Gil Santiago officiating. Burial will follow at Willowview Cemetery. Friends may call at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia on Thursday evening from 5 to 8pm
